When you look at the popular websites online, what are some thoughts that run through your head?

• "They must have had a lot of money to start that!"
• "They must have a whole team helping them".
• "I'm not computer literate, so I could never do something like that!"
• "I'm not smart, special, or talented, so it just wouldn't work for me."
• "All that stuff is a bunch of crap. I don't believe it!".
• "Most stuff online is just some kind of scam".
• "I can't come up with any ideas. I'm just not creative".

There are tens of thousands of people who built a website and created income-on-autopilot for themselves online, so let's just take a brief look at one of them. 

Pat Flynn was just a regular guy who created a website, wrote content that helped people, became quite popular, and now pulls in  at least $150,000 a month every month.

You can read his story here, but in a nutshell, he studied architecture in college and then studied for a specialized architecture exam. Then, the economy tanked, and he lost his job. So, he created a blog advising other architecture students how to study for that specialized exam.  

Soon, he started earning more money than he had been making at his previous job. Over the ensuing years, his income exploded as he expanded the amount of valuable content he offers others. He now regularly earns anywhere from $150,000 to $300,000+ per month, just by providing valuable content to others.

Was he just lucky?  Did he have special talents that you don't have access to? Is he smarter than you? 

The answer is no, no, and no.

If you want to create that kind of lifestyle, you have the ability and the power to do so!

Here's a fact:

According to Google, there are 1,970,000 websites telling you how to "make money with a blog".

And you know what the real, hard fact is?

About 90% of them give you the wrong advice, or they simply want you to pay them thousands of dollars for incomplete (or inaccurate) information.

How do I know?

I've been doing this for over 15 years.  And I've studied an average of 5 hours a day, every day, for that entire time.

That's a lot of studying...

Written material by expert authors is my favorite medium, but I've done more than just read. I've taken classes, seminars, done extensive research, and analyzed data every which way.  I've created websites, written professional content, and developed tried-and-true strategies. I've helped regular people like you as well as small- to medium-sized businesses create their unique presence online and then use that presence to help others and increase their income.

Those are exceptional websites. Exceptional people.  Right?

It doesn't happen in 6 months, either. Think more like 2-3 years. Or more.

Most people won't do it.

They want easy. They want "now!".  They want someone else to do it for them.

Most people will put in the work for a week. Maybe they'll even stick it out for 3 months, but then, when the results don't show up, they're off to something new and more "promising".

Then they sit and complain about how "it didn't work" or they "couldn't do it because____". (You can fill in the blank with anything).

And they blame the person who promised them it was possible. "What a liar!" "I got scammed!". "She's a charlatan!".

If you want to travel this path and succeed, you need to be one of the few, the rare, the uncommon.  

You need to be willing to put in long hours, 7 days a week without any results. 

We all crave feedback.  We need to see some kind of reward for all our hard work.  The truth is, though, that if you choose to walk this path, you will labor long and hard for several months before you see one shred of evidence that the path you're on is working as it should.

That's simply too much for most people.

In this age of instant gratification and shiny new gems dangling before their eyes, enticing them to change direction and grab the latest-and-greatest fad, the thought of persevering on a path that provides (seemingly) nothing is just too darn difficult.

Most web designers will charge you $1500 or more for a website. And that's what you get - a website!

Anyone can build themselves a great-looking website with a little bit of reading and practice.  But you know what?

Building a website doesn't bring you visitors!

"Build it and they will come" most certainly does NOT apply to websites!

Understand this:

There are at least 300 million blogs online today, and at least 81% of them make less than $100/month in revenue.

Approximately 2% of those blogs earn more than $150,000 a month.

Just because you build yourself a website with an eye-catching design doesn't mean you're going to get loyal visitors or even make any money.

This is how it usually goes:

• You hire someone to build you a great-looking website (cost: hundreds or thousands of dollars).
  
  
• Then, you realize you're not getting traffic. So, you spend LOTS of money on CPC ads (Facebook, Google Adsense, etc).  The visitors come, but since you don't have a well-defined strategy or content that grabs their attention, delivers value, and keeps them from clicking away, your money simply flows down the garbage chute.
  
  
• So, then you invest in some courses to try to figure out how to get more traffic. You take a course on how to optimize your site for search engines, another to learn better keyword-research skills, another to improve your copywriting skills, and several more to learn all the other "tricks" people can sell you courses on.  
  
  Then, you need to subscribe to this keyword-research service, because the course said so. And you need this plugin to optimize your articles for LSI keywords. And you need to pay for this service because it'll surely bring you 20,000 new visitors every month. Ad inifintum.
  
  In the end, you've spent thousands of dollars that you didn't have to spend to begin with. And worse, you end up more confused. Your head spins with reams of conflicting information.  
  
  It's too much. So, you just give up and say, "It's all just a scam.  I can't do it".
  
  
• No matter where you go for help, I promise you this:

The vast majority of people online are there to take your money, deliver as little as they need to keep you from complaining, and then charge you more when you need something else. Because what they did do was simply not enough (or just blatantly wrong). And the truth of the matter is that most people out there offering to sell you "help" don't even have complete, accurate information to give you!

That, my friend, is reality.

Take my word for it, or spend thousands of dollars and waste years figuring that out. It's up to you.
